Lot 1230
Blued barrels marked on left side of breech "GEBRUDER MERKEL/SUHL" with matte rib flared at muzzle, large silver bead and small white bead. Case hardened scalloped boxlock action with areas of scroll engraving. Features include single trigger, ejectors, automatic safeties, cross bar, and double breech extensions. Unique walnut fitted buttstock with wide wrist with checkered panels, relief carved cheekpiece on left side and black recoil pad. Three piece walnut forearm with checkering and Deeley release. Good condition, actions tight and shiny bores. Barrels retain about 95% blue finish with some light edge wear and one area of heat discoloration from repair to rib, rib slightly loose near breech. Action retains traces of case colors , mostly turned to grey and with some light cleaning marks. Stocks good with scattered areas of marred checkering, scuffs, and marks from use, buttstock appears to have a repair horizontally through center. Would make an excellent trap shooting gun.Barrel Length: 27-7/8"Chamber: 2-3/4"Choke: Skeet, Skeet Drop at Comb: 1-7/8"Drop at Heel: 3"FFL Status: Curio & RelicGauge: 12Internal Bore Diameter: .736", .737"Length Of Pull: 13"Manufacturer: Gebruder MerkelModel: 200EPaperwork: No Serial Number: 47034Weight: 7 lbs. -11 oz.
