Uberti Hamilton-Burr Limited Edition Cased Replica Dueling Pistols. Serial no. 316A and 316B (of a limitation of 1200 sets), .54 caliber, 9 Â½-inch octagonal plum-blued barrels. Blued trigger guard. Silver trigger. Checkered walnut stock. Bronze fore end and ramrod ferrule. Steel ramrod. Lock marked "Wogdon". Top of barrel marked "Wogdon London". Housed in a fitted cherry wood box with a Dixie Gun Works bullet mold, engraved presentation plaque, prospectus, Certificate of Authenticity, instruction manual, engraved presentation card to the original owner and the key for the case. Made by Aldo Uberti for The United States Historical Society, Richmond, Virginia who issued the set in 1981. The original pair were used in multiple duels including the famous duel between former Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton and sitting Vice President Aaron Burr.
