A collection of 100 photographs and commentary on the vanishing relics of Manhattan, circa 1938. It shows the strange, the bizarre and the unique aspects of this most interesting American city. Written/compiled by Charles G. Shaw; published 1938 by Farrar & Rinehart (first edition). Sunning to covers, especially spine. Book is solid and clean with no major wear issues. Scarce dust jacket has large chips to top spine, other smaller chips. Some soiling to dj. 6.5 x 9.5.
