A nice Colima 'Autlan' type ceramic figure, West Mexico, 100 BC - AD 250, the features well-modeled with incised detail, the costume elaborate with wrapped headdress, large beaded necklace and tasseled apron with pants detailed with incised line and white slip. H: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm). A handsome figure with light deposits. Custom metal stand. Ex Southern California private collection, acquired in the 1970's and 80's.
