This is a top class Yoroi-doshi tanto, order made with the makers signature Bizen No Kuni Ju Osafune Fujiwara Sukesada. On the Ura side of the Nakago is the Date Taiei Roku Nen Hachi Gatsu Kitchi bei.
Taiei Era was 1521 - 1528 ( Roku Nen ) is the year 1527 & Kitchi Bea is a Lucky Day in Hachi Gatsu in the Eight month. There is no pitting or damage to the blade only dried oil remains. His father was Hikobei no jo Sukesada, a great smith in his own right, eclipsed as a Sukesada only by the skill of his son.
