Born in Rome in 1980, PhD in Geology and Freelance photographer, Giulio Speranza focuses on landscape photography, guided by his scientific education and from practicing mountaineering sports and skiing, which allowed him to stay in close contact with the mountains and natural environment. Since 2006 his work has been exposed in many exhibitions and has won several international awards and honorable mentions: FOTOGRAFIA International Rome Photography Festival 2016 - ND Awards 2016 (HM) - International Photography Awards 2016 (HM) - Fine Art Photography Awards 2016 (HM) - Moscow International Foto Award 2015 (Winner - Nature-Season category) - 3rd Donkey Art Prize 2015. Although he uses a full frame digital camera for professional commitments, he pursues his personal photographic research using large format analog cameras. He usually develop my own films and prints. He's featured on the official Linhof website among professional photographers who uses the famous cameras made in Munich for their works and he's the official tester of Italian camera manufacturer Stenopeika.
