The ring was purchased at Tiffany & Co.* in the mid 1930's and features three (3), six prong set, Old European cut diamonds set in elaborate filigree style heads, with the largest diamond set in the center. The mounting measures approx. 1.80 mm at the base, 4.15mm at the center head. The center diamond measures approx. 7.50 - 7.45 x 4.40 mm, approx. 1.55 cts., VS1 clarity "G” color. The side diamonds are 1@ approx. 6.80 - 6.87 x 4.20 mm, VS1 clarity, “G” color; 1 approx. @ 6.92 - 6.95 x 4.35 mm, VS2* clarity, “G” color, approx. 2.45 cts/tw (for the pair). The two side diamonds both have strong blue fluorescence. The ring is currently a size 10.25, has a high polish finish and weighs approx. 4.80 dwt (7.40 grams). *Consignor notes the ring was purchased at Tiffany & Co, however subsequent sizings have removed the stamp- we could not verify the item is Tiffany. **NOTE*** All stone weights are calculations by formula. The diamonds have not bee removed from the mountings. *This diamond is graded VS2 clarity due to a small nick on the girdle of the diamond. The piece is in excellent condition. *CONDITION NOTE**All of the stones are secure, all of the prongs are intact and covering the diamonds. The shank has no cracks or breaks. It does appear that the ring was re-shanked at some point as- it is not noticeable on, however a trained eye can spot where the shank has been replaced approx. 1/4 of the way down on either side of the head.
