Helmet has been embellished later w/ a South Vietnamese airborne unit painting on the front w/ the words "AIRBORNE" & "CCN". Helmet also features an ace of spades w/ a ribbon above that reads "CONGHOA". 2) US POST WWII. Rear seam helmet w/ swivel chin strap buckles & post WWII liner. Helmet has a somewhat sanded finish w/ worn red painted decoration on the front. Complete w/ chin strap. 3) US POST WWII. Rear seam helmet w/ swivel chin strap buckles & post WWII liner. Helmet has a Vietnam era camouflage cover. Complete w/ chinstrap. 4) US POST WWII. Rear seam helmet w/ 1 swivel chin strap buckle & post WWII liner. Helmet has a somewhat sanded finish. Helmet has been paint embellished later w/ "USMC" over globe & anchor on the front. Left side has a ribbon that reads "1 SHOT 1 KILLED" over a Vietcong soldier in the crosshairs of a rifle w/ exploding head. Right side of helmet has a 3rd Marine Division insignia. 5) JAPANESE. A last ditch Japanese style steel helmet w/ green/brown painted finish. Complete w/ liner but no chinstrap. Helmet appears unissued. Exact date of mfg. cannot be determined. 6) JAPANESE. Cast aluminum Japanese Civil Defense style helmet w/ green/brown painted finish. This helmet has nylon straps tied together to form a liner therefore this helmet likely post dates WWII. CONDITION: helmets generally show light wear. Japanese helmets seem to have only storage wear. Painted embellishments on US helmets show little or no wear. (02-11847(6 total)/BF). $300-500 for lot.
