This is a 19th C sled measuring approx 51" L. The iron runners have mortise and tenon flat screw construction.

Early painted sled, American, 19th C., old or original floral painting wooden runners with iron face, turned wooden stretcher, wear consistent with age and use, sold as is, 15" h. x 38" w. x 11" d.

It is wood construction with iron runners, retains some white and red paint, and measures approx 34" L x 15.5" W x 12" H. There is no maker's mark and the seat appears to have had floral images.
