This is an antique lot of two ornate sterling silver match safes with floral and leaf repousse designs. 2 3/8" long to 2 1/2" long. The total weight is 1.44ozt.

Three are made by Whiting Manufacturing Company and the other three are made by F.S. Gilbert. All have floral motifs, three are embossed. Two have initials.

One made by the Simons Brothers, two by W.O.C. and the other three are unknown makers. Most have floral designs, one is dated 1911. Some with minor dents.

Two are made by F.S. Gilbert, three by Whiting and one is of unknown maker. Four have initials, most have floral designs.

All made by Whiting & Company. Two have initials, one is dated 1896 and one shows embossed birds.

All by Webster and Company. Two with floral motifs and one with Carpenters insignia. Strong hinges. Condition (Excellent). Size Each: 2-1/2'' x 1-1/2''.

One depicting two horses in a horseshoe and the other has three horse heads.

Two are made by H.H. Curtis & Co and three by Wm Kerr Co. The one with the embossed sailboat has a split on the lid. Art Deco and floral motifs, four with initials.

Three are made by Wm. Kerr Co and the other three are made by Alkin & Lambert Co. Four have initials, two with embossed floral motifs, one has a Art Deco motif and one has a bowling motif.

One is made by Botoga, one by Black, Star & Frost, two by James Blake Company, three by unknown makers. Two have initials, four have floral designs.

One dated 1916, one initialed with scuff marks and two with floral design. Condition (Excellent). Size Largest: 1-3/4'' x 2-1/2''.

All by Frank Whiting. Two have initials.

Two by William Smith & Co. One has cherubs and the other one is plain. The third is by Codding Bros & Heilborn.
