1927 Composite 2/6 from the broken "R" plate, right marg. pair with narrow date above wide date, upper stamp with "1929" variety from R.2/4, lightly hinged at the top only, very fresh, very scarce in

10/- hinged mint single with full gum, a few irregular perfs, decently centred and with good colour, a useful example of this rare stamp. BPP cert. (2005). SG 46, Mi. 11 II, Hib. T41.

2/6 grey-brown u/m mint, very fresh, full perforations, lovely colour, light horiz. gum creasing. SG 44, Mi. 9II, Hib. T39.

5/- rose-red, very lightly hinged mint, bright colour, full perfs., incredibly well centred for these, a choice example! SG 45, Mi. 10II, Hib. T40-V56.

2½d vertical pair, upper stamp with "Rialta" missing, also a large part of "Scal", due to foreign matter on the plate, lightly hinged at the top only, spectacular and most attractive. SG 35 var.,

9d agate sheet corner pair with full margins and Control S22 imperf, Setting 8, superb used with neat, upright cds's FERNS / 15 JA / 23, full perfs., very rare in such superb used condition. SG 40 var

1d sheet corner block of 6 with Control sloping T22 perf., upper right stamp with "outer frame break" from R.19/12 (GB Plate 96), lightly hinged at the top only. SG 53 var., Hib. TC 140 with T48aa.

1d bottom right corner block of 6 with Control T22 imp., Setting 2, base plate 87b, upper left stamp and margin with faintest possible hinge, rare. SG 48, Mi. 13 III, Hib. TC112.

6d vertical pair with "missing perforation", light cds's (indistinct), almost perfect perfs, rare as a fine used multiple. Mi. 20IV var., SG 39 var., Hib. T34a.

2/6 red-brown with "Nissen" Re-entry from R.1/3 , very fine mint, almost perfectly centred and with almost perfect perfs. BPP short cert. SG 18 var., Mi. 9I var., Hib. T12a.

2/6 chocolate-brown with "Brennan" Re-entry from R.7/1 , very fine mint, a couple sl. irregular perfs., fine appearance. BPP short cert. SG 17 var., Mi. 9I var., Hib. T12b.

1d right marginal block of 16 showing both positions of "S over é" from R.7/10 and 10/10 (R.7/10 later corrected), hinged at the top only, superb centring and very fresh, a scarce and most attractive

2½d left marginal block of 4 with crisp and bright offset on the gum, u/m, seldom seen this nice! SG 56, Mi. 29I var., Hib. T51-V49.

½d with a clear strike of the rare experimental German CORGAIGH (Cork) "Hammer-head" timed cancel for 7 APR 23, rarely found so clear. SG 52 var, Hib. T47 var.

9d block of 4, upper left stamp with clear "line over Saortstát" from Setting 1, hinged at the top only, very fresh. SG 61 var., Mi. 34 var., Hib. T56c.

2/6 chocolate brown with blotted letters incl. "blind A", superb mint and well centred for these. SG 17 var., Mi. 9I var., Hib. T12-V55a.

10/- with error flat accent from R.9/2, u/m mint, very fresh with full perforations, single, small faint trace of gum ageing, BPP cert. (2015). SG 101a cat £1100 as hinged, Hib. T77a cat €1

½d with dull black overprint, corner Control block of 6 T22 imperf., hinged once very lightly in the margin only, otherwise completely u/m, very scarce. SG 30 var., Hib. TC122.
