Purchased lot 19 on sept 15th. (2 pcs) billed for 2 pc in lot. upon pu one of 2 pcs was missing and Michaans said just pay for one, ‚ Ä ú take it or leave it ‚ Ä ú!! Sales are to be absolute. They stole item and didn ‚ Ä ô t have any explanation, and still tried charging me. Ridiculous. I wont be dealing with Michaans or live bidding ever over this problem...

The auction house fees and percentages were not clear to me as a 1st timer.

This auction house would NOT take my credit card for payment. I am out of town a lot without my check book. If I knew they did not accept credit card upon receiving invoice. I would NOT have bid on these earrings. Liveauctioneers is a fun way to look at items an bid. Sorry this has happened and has made payment difficult.

The staff are all very helpful, and go out of their way to assist even at the last minute on auction day.

payment process was a complete pain as auction house would not accept foreign registered credit card so had to do bank transfer which was not convenient, in this day and there is no excuse for not accepting Paypal or credit card, shipping company accepted without any issue and that transaction was smooth, would appear that shipping from California to the uk is the most expensive route in the world, I buy the same item from auctions all over the world and have never experienced shipping/postage costs like this from any other country even far flung Japan and costs from uk to California for the same item are less than half what I paid

I like their items. However, they only accept checks for jewelry, they do not ship, they make you figure 'them' out. And they charge 27 percent for all these inconveniences. So, I've put them in my 'unless I really love the item, I won't bother bidding' category. They are a bit too much trouble. They need to be much more accommodating to online buyers like me who have purchased from them at least twice before. Thanks.

The shipping choices are limited and the prices quoted for small items is outrageous. $38 for a single jewelry item. I urge the auction house to find some other shipping vendors to provide their clients. Also, as Michaan's no longer accepts credit card, the time frame for payment should be extended by 5 days as no one can control the mail.

They have billed me for something I did not purchase and continue to harass me. I will not to business with these jerks again.

I am grateful for your quick and honest response in dealing with the faulty watch I bought. I was so encouraged that bid for a number of pieces of art the very day.

I was approved to bid via Live Auctioneers for the recent Estate Auction at Michaan's Auctions (July 8). I had placed a bid on an item (lot 304) and was prepared to bid more during the live auction. On July 8 I joined the live auction, but there were several lots to go before the one I was interested in. I opened a new browser window to continue using the internet and resized the live auction window so that I could continue to follow the live auction while waiting for lot 304. I did not click on the "bid now" now button, but within moments of the process I just described, I received an email alerting me that I had just won an item in the Michaan's Auctions (lot 238). I immediately found the contact information for the auction house and called them. Someone took my information and said they would follow up. Today I was told that they would cancel the sale if I paid the $189 buyer's premium. I do not feel that this is an acceptable resolution as I did not bid on the item. I have successfully bid in a dozen auctions with Live Auctioneers since 2016 and have watched dozens more. Even where I have not won items, my participation has helped drive up prices. I have no idea how I was able to place a bid on lot 238 and although I am highly dissatisfied with the resolution, my only recourse is to pay the $189. I will not participate in any future sales Michaan's Auctions and I will be filing a complaint against both the auction house and Live Auctioneers with the Better Business Bureau.

Very smooth experience. If items could be picked up on the weekend it would be even better.

Very smoothly run-in-house shipping is really a time saver, provided it is reasonable, and their's is.

I think the payment and shipping process could be more automated. It took several phone calls to finalize payment and arrange shipping. I was thinking it would be equal to purchasing something on eBay. This was my first time purchasing thru live auctions. Although I love the product I bought, the process after bidding was somewhat laborious.

Yes, I may have to leave Liveauctioneers because I am getting way, way to many emails from the individual auction houses and can't seem to unsubscribe to them successfully.

Helpful website. My first time winning on liveauctioneers and finalizing the transaction went extremely smoothly. The auction house was very thorough and made it easy to find a shipper.

They were selling the Rembranbt but it was not authentica! So for $350 all together with shipping I got the fake Rembrandt photocopy! I'm very disappointed! never again

Weekend pickup would be nice. Staff was great!
