Quality item at a fair price.

I called up to ask for a pickup time and the person said anytime they were open was ok. My wife and I drove over on a Tuesday and there were very few people picking items up so we were helped immediately. A young lady greeted us and said she would locate our item for us. While she was doing that we looked around the floor at new items for auctions and found some really cool items! The young lady found our item quickly and I picked it up and carried it out. A very easy, pleasant and enjoyable experience!

Absolutely have nothing to complain about regarding staff helpfulness.... excellent and timely. Why Michaan’s does not accept Canadian credit cards, or, alternatively, provide its customers the use of the LiveAuctioneers, payment system is beyond me. Sending a bank draft my mail, when a wire transfer does not make any economic sense, is a pain to say the very least. Please get with it Treasury Department. Aside from the above, kudos to the staff I had the pleasure of dealing with. Peter Vancouver Island

We had a small problem but they resolved it beyond my expectations! Over all I have to say they are one of the better auctions houses I have dealt with. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

Due to the pandemic, it was challenging for our carrier to coordinate pick-up. They made 3 cross-country attempts to pick-up.

Staff and customers were required to wear face masks at the preview and during pick-up. On-line bidding was easy. I brought a couple of friends to load the heavy bronze and porcelain end table. When we told the young man who was monitoring our removal of my items that we needed to take the table apart to get it in my SUV, he got down on the floor and unscrewed the top, and then while the table was being loaded, he brought out both large 36-inch diameter wood-paneled paintings that I purchased after the auction. We hadn't asked him to do anything. Buying at Michaan's was a pleasant, efficient, and trouble-free experience.

I had a specific question about one particular lot, and they answered it promptly and accurately. They even updated the listing information to reflect more details about the item. After making the winning bid, the payment and shipping process was clearly outlined and easy to understand. When the item arrived, it was exactly as described. Satisfied and will bid again!
