The bidding process is flawed. I appeared to bid against myself, although I submitted an absentee bid. Upon bringing that to the attention of the auction house they did nothing.

If your a online auction maybe you should consider a group rate at a shipper or in house shipping.. $365-500 +... in all my years online biddingI was NEVER was charged this much... with a broken piece Maybe that's why everything was so cheap

I have made purchases many times. Recently, there are big problems with sending. They can not send almost 2 weeks and they respond poorly to requests.

I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING A PERSIAN PRAYER RUG BECAUSE THE AUCTION HOUSE SHOULD KNOW FOR SURE WHAT THEY ARE OFFERING, OTHERWISE I COULD OFFER A 2 KARAT ZERCON AS A 2 KARAT DIAMOND AND THEREFORE DISAPPOINT THE BUYER. YES, A UP FRONT VISUAL INSPECTION WOULD TELL ME THE ITEM WAS WRONGLY ADVERTISED, BUT I CANNOT GET TO MAIMI OR COLORADO OR, OR,??, WHEREVER, TO SEE ALL THESE ITEMS OFFERED, SO I AM DEPENDENT ON THE AUCTION HOUSE BEING ABLE TO USE THEIR EXPERTISE (WHICH I AM PAYING FOR) TO SORT OF GUARANTEE THE ITEMS AUTHENTICITY, OTHERWISE I MIGHT AS WELL GO ON E-BAY, AND TAKE MY CHANCES FOR A "CHEAPER" GYYPED PRICE ~! THEY ALSO GIVE GLOWING REPORTS ON THEIR ITEMS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THEM AT YOUR HOME. YES, I UNDERSTAND THE QUALITY MIGHT BE AN ISSUE-A LITTLE MORE WORN THAN I EXPECTED. SO IN MY CASE, MY FRIEND IS LAUGHING AT ME FOR BUYING A "PERSIAN RUG"-THE RUGS WERE MADE IN AFGANISTAN NOT IRAN-IRAN IS A PERSIAN RUG MAKER. MY ASSORTMENT OF RUGS INCLUDED A 1 FOOT SQUARE PIECE OF MATERIAL-I DO NOT THINK THAT CONSTITUTES A RUG, DO YOU? THE PERSON AT THE AUCTION HOUSE, TOLD THE SHIPPER THAT I HIRED THAT I BOUGHT 7 RUGS FOR $383.00 EACH, NOT A PACKAGE OF RUGS, SO I NEEDED TO PAY A HIGHER CUSTOMS BORDER FEE TO GET MY SHIPMENT-I HOPE TO GO TO CUSTOMS AND EXPLAIN THE ERROR, BUT THAT IS MORE OF MY TIME WASTED, AND MAYBE MY MONEY? IF THE BROKERAGE HOUSE IS DETERMINING MY EXPENDITURE TOTAL AS THE WAY TO CHARGE ME A HANDLING FEE, THEN THEY WILL BE CHARGING ME MORE, RIGHT. SO, I CANNOT DEAL WITH THE AUCTION HOUSE IF THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN DEALING WITH "E-BAY". SORRY, BUT THAT IS WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, I WAS EXCITED ABOUT USING YOUR SERVICES, BUT I DO NOT WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF, IN PRICE, THEN ADD TO THAT, YOUR EXTRA FEES, AND MY SHIPPING FEES, AND NO REFUND ~! ~!, POLICY-AT LEAST AT E-BAY YOU ARE SOMETIMES ABLE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, MAYBE-BUT E-BAY HAS THEIR POLICIES IN PLACE TO HELP PROTECT THE BUYERS, WHAT POLICIES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE TO PROTECT YOUR BUYERS? The painting I purchased had significant damage that was not disclosed in either the advertising or when I directly inquired about condition. Huge chunk missing put of bottom right hand corner not disclosed, and several major impressions in painting like something was placed on top of it. Very disappointing.

Items were misrepresented; damage was disclosed for a few items in a lot, implying that the rest of the lot was in good condition, which it was not. Glasses that were called "Waterford" were not marked.
