Need to be on top of them to ship item
Paid for an item over a weeek thinking it was shipped. Sent inquire about item then received the invoice same day i called a week later for shipping paid at 11am called at 3 to see if item has been shipped and to find out why a week later I received shipping invoice not when I purchased item. She gave me an answer and assured me it would be shipped yesterday which was Friday. Because fed ex hasn’t arrived yet. I called Saturday to check in item since i never received tracking and come to find out it wasn’t shipped and it will go out Monday very disappointing not happy with customer service at all and I worked in hospitality for over 10 years

I am sorry you feel as you do. | I have just reviewed your invoice and spoke with the lady in accounting with whom you spoke yesterday. | Our shipping procedure is clearly explained in the terms of sale, invoice email, and again in the receipt email. We communicate it clearly and concisely-multiple times, and in each communication ask the buyer to please read it in full because it is important. | Excerpt: ** Because of the many variables in shipping (weight, size, destination, carrier etc), shipping costs are charged and collected as a separate event (from the auction invoice). The shipping invoice is sent by email after your items have been prepared for shipment  -at which time the shipping is able to be accurately calculated. | Please allow up to 14 business days after receipt of cleared invoice payment for purchases to be packed and ready to ship. Following an auction, our shipping queue will swell with the influx of many hundreds of invoices. The shipping department processes the invoices as quickly as possible, but each invoice must be individually addressed and properly packed-and this takes time. ** | Your invoice was first sent 4/19 and then again 4/23. Your invoice was paid at 9:31am on 4/29 and the invoice was released to shipping. | Your items were packed and the shipping invoice was sent 5/6 | You paid your shipping invoice on the afternoon of 5/8. In speaking to accounting yesterday, FedEx had not yet arrived, but they arrived within minutes of your call and there was not enough time to get your shipment labeled, to the dock and on to the truck as the FedEx drivers do not wait. | FedEx Ground does not run on weekends, so this will go out Monday | I do apologize you feel as you do, but your invoice was handled within our published guidelines. Based on years of feedback I feel our catalog team does an excellent job. | Buyers Fee: The buyers fee is fully disclosed to all buyers taking part in the auction. It is in the terms of sale one must read prior to bidding. It is on each sale page and each lot page. It is not hidden in any way. It is the same buyers fee for all bidders, all bidding mediums and all payment types. In short-it is equitable to everyone taking part in the auction. No one bidder has any financial bidding advantage over another. This being the case it is a level bidding field for all. Do Not Trust Centurion Auctions
I've been buying vintage posters from auction houses for 20 years and have never had a worse overall experience. The condition of the item that I bought was badly misrepresented (photographed only once, from a distance, with no written details about damage). It had multiple tears and was glued to a poster board. When my emails asking for condition details went unanswered, I took a chance and bid anyway. Big mistake! I won the item and when I called to pay, the person on the phone was rude and dismissive, directing me to their antiquated website (which gave no confirmation of payment) and telling me that they automatically release items to a local UPS store for shipping. I asked that he NOT release my items so that I could call multiple vendors and get my own quotes. Two days later I got a call from said UPS store telling me that they had my item in their possession for shipping (at an exorbitant charge-surprise, surprise. Do yourself a favor and avoid this auction house at all costs, or it will cost you.

We strive to make certain each customer is highly satisfied | The entire team at Centurion is trained to be customer centered. | I reviewed the poster you purchased-In regards to your specific purchase: 1. Images: This poster was framed and had 4 images attached to the listing. When an item is framed, if it is well-framed and difficult to remove (where attempting to do do may cause damage to the item) is our policy to not remove from the frame. | 2. Represented Condition: Our team is trained to provide as accurate a condition as possible. it is never our intention to deceive or mis-represent any item we sell. If a buyer receives an item and feels the condition does not align with the catalog description-they encourage them to contact us so that we can remedy the issue. We will make it right. We do not just stick it to the buyer. | 3. Shipping: We are not suited to ship large framed items in-house and thus they are sent 3rd party. The UPS store is our 3rd party agent but a buyer is always welcome to choose their own shipping 3rd party agent. Your item may have been handed over as part of our process with the shipping department not knowing you were sorting your own shipping. We would have gone and immediately picked this back up from UPS if contacted to do so. | 4. Payments: All online payments are processed securely through authorize. net. Upon payment an automated receipt is immediately sent from the payment gateway. Great Experience
I buy from on-line auctions frequently, and have to say my experience with Centurion was exceptional. Their email status, follow up and timeliness was great. Shipping charges were a bit high, but not astronomical as most houses charge these days. Overall, thumbs up, and yes, will buy again from them.

We work diligently to keep a majority of shipping services in-house and the associated costs to a minimum. Much of the shipping costs are a direct pass through of the shipping cost to the carrier, insurance cost, carrier signature confirmation charge, and the cost of the shipping supplies used. We are finding USPS and FedEx shipping rates continuing to increase. Over the last 4 months, we have actually taken steps to separate the buyer shipping invoice event from the auction invoice itself. We chose to invoice shipping as a separate invoice (after the items have been packed, weighed and measured) so that we can offer our buyers an accurate and fair shipping price for the items they purchase-and not just a guess (which many auction houses will "guess" on the very high-side and over-charge their customers). We use this method for the benefit of the buyers because we sell an extremely varied product set, and within this, many buyers purchase multiple lots on a single invoice. Verry happy with the bayownets my only ishue was that my inishal invoice stated the final auction price so I paid that but then a few day's later I got anouther invoice for shipping not a big problem but had to make to payments
