After earning both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University, he served with distinction in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps before establishing a long and admired career in private practice in Potomac, Maryland.A lifelong learner with a deep appreciation for culture, Dr. London discovered his passion for art in his 30s, cultivating a collection that reflected both intellect and intuition. In his 40s, he served as a docent at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum, sharing his enthusiasm for the artists who shaped the modern era—chief among them Andy Warhol, whose wit and vision he greatly admired.The estate of Dr. London reveals a discerning eye for Post War & Contemporary American Art. Cowan's 2026 Inaugural Online Arms, Armor & Militaria Sale offers a wide range of collectible, historical, sporting and commemorative firearms as well as some nice groups of edged weapons and militaria. Some highlights include a Comprised Pair of J Purdey & Sons Best Quality 12 Gauge Shotguns, a lovely 19th Century Austrian Broadsword and a USMC Property Marked Remington Model 40-X Rifle. Offerings range from the 18th to the 21st century with items for collectors and shooters of all interests and at all price points.
