Good to work with. Very reputable.

Over a thousand dollars to crate up and ship the items all together. They could have been boxed and shipped individually for a quarter of that price.

Once again, we participated in a Modern/Contemporary Art Auction put forth by Hindman. Our experiences are always the same — well organized, lots are well presented and researched, photos are worthy of the quality of art work. We have a support system for shipping and packing with the UPS Store # 3878 that’s also remarkable. Personally, we are building a collection for the Peoria Riverfront Museum and the offerings from Hindman are parallel with the Museum’s mission and our curatorial standards. We proudly support an Illinois auction house, an Illinois Museum and a local IL business. (UPS Store # 3878). If we were limited to only one auction house to build our collection, we would choose Hindman over the New York mega auctions every time. It’s gives us confidence that we are able to find unique objects that help educate the public to appreciate Contemporary/Modern art. We look forward to the future.

I was very pleased with the cooperation and assistance which I received from Hindman's staff members. I would bid again in one of their auctions.

Absolutely happy with auction house. I buy from a few platforms and the outside shipping was excellent but by far the most I have ever paid for this size piece. I did shop around and all quotes were unreal. Received items from Europe at significantly less than this transaction.

The item was as shown and reported. The product is beautiful and I was well informed on the buyers premium however it still caught me off guard on how expensive it was Then on other houses I have purchased from the shipping has always been free for small items like jewelry. Hindman charged me $125 to send me my item. The total paid for my item was more than I should have paid for it. Transparency was there I will just be wary of this auction house in the future.

We have had the privilege to build our collection of Contemporary and Modern Art through the offerings at Hindman Gallery. Always great communicators and professionally work well with our preferred shipping agency. Their focused art auctions typically included Illinois artists that we prefer to support and promote. We curate our collection, and always peruse the early survey of lots so we can schedule time to participate. It has always been and will be one of our favorite auction experiences. This last purchase we sought out to include in a future museum exhibition was one of Illinois’s most recognized and prominent artists Nicolas Africano.

Hindman runs wonderful auctions. But, I hate third party shipping for small items. Takes longer, costs more to get my lots. The shipper was great, but it's an added-expensive-step that I don't appreciate; especially on smaller items.

The in house shipping department for sports collectables could not have been less helpful. They just did not want to be helpful in any way.

Call 3-5 shippers for quotes. The quotes I received to pick up and ship varied by about $100 to ship one piece of pottery.

Very helpful with the purchase. Would definitely deal with them again
