I’ve bought from other Auction companies and I’ve never had to pay that much to get my items shipped. Choosing your own party only gets more complicated specially if you’re out of town. I think there’s definitely room for improvement in this department. Other than that good experience

If buying prints they take them out of the frame for the auction so yo if buying on line you do not see the frame that comes with the print but they also did not put the print back in the frame before it was picked up by the shipper.

Mailed payment within 36 hours but it took forever to reach (or post) at Hindman's Chicago office. When I called to check on receipt they just said not to worry. I only worried because their conditions said they would start charging a fee after payment was deemed delinquent.

The two lamps I purchased were beautiful fairly and accurately described. However the “Victorian walnut umbrella stand” was definitely fdosent appear to be of the victorian era. It is much newer and not of the usual high quality sold by Hindmans.

Gorgeous items, expert shipping, great auction house!

I contacted ALL of Hindman's shipping partners. Not a single one was able or willing to ship to Canada. I contacted Jakiya, Christopher and their customer support to inform them of the situation. I found a trucking company that was able to pick up, propvided that it was placed on a pallet. Hindman refused to place it on a pallet, but nonetheless requested payment although none of their shippers would ship the item. They placed a complaint with liveauctioneers, which I disputed. This whole issue would have been avoided had they simply indicated on the auction that the item is too large to be shipped outside of continental USA.

Very disappointed. Personnel completely uncaring even though responsibility of the auction house to properly describe and photograph any issues. Item completely worthless as a result. Personnel robotic, uncaring and unhelpful when item was obviously damaged without description letting bidders know

Hindman auction have very unprofessional experts that do not describe the items properly. I bought a porcelain figurine that had a restoration. The restoration wasn't described and I believe that Hindman expert just missed it which is very unprofessional. I didn't get any apologies or any compensation. It looks like they don't care about the customers. I don't recommend Hindman auction. Not reliable!

I've purchased from Hindman's Chicago and its perfection, yet have to say they went way beyond at the Cincinnatti showroom. Thank you thank you for saving the day w a shipping correction. These people could not be nicer! Shop with crazy abandon!

As always Hindman Auctions show why they are one of the best auction houses in the business. They are fast, friendly, good value for money and very easy to deal with. They (Hindman) do it all well!!

Shipping was not smooth. Was not aware the item was in Florida, not Chicago, that lead to confusion in finding and getting the right shipper to handle it. But it all worked out and they are responsive with their communication
