Reliable auction house, affordable shipping
Have bought at Sarasota periodically for a number of years. They are fair, competent, and reliable. While shipping costs have gone up everywhere, their shipping in my experience has always been reasonable, and things are packed professionally and shipped quickly. Use Premiere Shipping & Crating, which Sarasota recommends in their shipping information. This is that rare auction house where I never have to wonder if shipping will be ridiculously overpriced. (It is also useful before bidding to email Premiere shipping and ask for a rough shipping estimate in advance, with a link to the lot you're following.)

Excellent shipping experience
Sarasota has an in-house shipper. I don’t know if it’s the same company or independent, but it appears they sre at the same location. Their price beats Live Auctioneers quote and The UPS Store. They packed my items very securely and shipped quickly. Bidding on Sarasota was also smooth and I got a great deal on my lot.

Love my items!
I loved the items I won online at Sarasota Estate Auction and they were even better in person than pictured. They also allowed me to arrange pickup with prompt service. I will buy from them again.

They could not find the item I won.
I bid on and won an item, then paid for it. But they could not find it and they ended up refunding me my payment. That was fair, but I was not happy with that outcome.

Sarasota Estate Auction did a great job with the auction and carefully packaging my item, a large bronze statue, it arrived in perfect condition, as it has with the several items I have won with them.
