Very honest store. When I received the item, I noticed that the pictures did not describe the item condition accurately. I contacted Gus and he acknowledged the issues without any hesitation, issued full refund and covered the return shipping cost. Very honest and professional. I made multiple purchases with this store and this is the only time that I had issues. Will come back for more auctions for sure.

I was high bidder on a second Fulper dipstick from this auction but because another bidder supposedly bid at the same time they gave the piece to them. Also, my item was basically shipped in crumpled up butcher paper. No bubble wrap or packing peanuts. Very unprofessional.

This was my first experience participating in an actual auction via the online process. First of all, it was tremendously simple and straight-forward. The only part that I was concerned about was the actual shipping and handling. This apparently is all done 'in house', and was perfect. It was fast, professional, and also very reasonably priced. Ca. Historical Design has a low buyer's fee, does not charge extra for using CC, and shipping is extremely reasonable. Could not be better.
