I am a customer for over 9 years. A terrific team, professional and responsive. Everything I have bought was exactly as described and I was always very happy with my experience. One of my favorite auction house in South Florida.

Very helpful prior to the sale and afterword

I spent over $1200 on 6 TINY stone objects and was charged $65 for shipping a small (8 "X 10" X 12 ) box with some bubble wrap from Florida to Texas. I expect to pay a fair & reasonable amount for shipping, especially when it's in house but I REALLY don't appreciate being gauged for shipping after already spending a small fortune with them. I also don't appreciate not being given a specific reason why it was so expensive-more than twice what it should have been-even after I asked them why it was so expensive. This shipping experience has made me want to actively avoid buying from them again.

Bill Hood staff members are very good at what they do. I am very pleased with the item I bought and the entire experience.

Bill Hood & Sons were extremely efficient with my purchase. Everything was clear and they helped arrange postage for me. Would do business again with no concerns. Very speedy shipping to the UK. No faults at all, exactly as described and viewed. I am very happy.

I made a purchase with the confidence that Bill & Sons Auctions would properly vet the products they are selling. The piece was not as described. I then contacted the company both through Liveauctioneers, and a company email address. NO RESPONSE! I have had the piece vetted by an expert here in New York, he knows the forger who made the piece. I expect a response at the very least, their policy does not include an exemption for respect.

Hood list number one achievement as accuracy yet the item I won had a hairline and chips not mentioned in the description. With the auctioneers percentage plus the outrages cost to ship, my item was more than $200.00 for a winning bid of $125.00. If, as an online bidder, you can't trust the auctioneer to include information regarding the condition of the item, then you should not bid with that auctioneer. Which is exactly what I plan to do regarding Bill Hood & Sons.

You can always rely on their word (rare for an auction house.) They are helpful and very patient. Descriptions are accurate. Always a pleasure.
