Described nicely. Their recomended shipper, Pak Mail, was more then. reasonable on cost. Received item 2 weeks after payment.

Dropped $1K on a painting, went down to pick. No masks on the staff, owner seemed a little put off. Not that I’m looking for a new friend, but this place could use a lesson in gracious customer service.

they should have a Description of condition of items so its easier to make bids when items are described and any flaws are mentioned. better pictures with closeups so we can determine condition.

I bought two small brass snuff boxes for $62.00 and was charged $55.00 for uninsured shipping. They initially wanted to charge $85.00 for shipping. I complained. I can ship the same two snuff boxes anywhere in the continental USA for $7.00 or $13.00 by US Mail depending on the size of the box.

it would be nice to get a detailed description of the product that way we don't always have to ask for it. Easier access to shipping providers.

If you're in business and interested in two-way communication and a professional experience, look elsewhere. If you must do business with this auction house, DO NOT use their shipper, Richard Ming. He collects your money, doesn't follow through on agreed upon terms and then goes completely AWOL.

I am just glad item was $100 or less. These guys are terrible. No matter the price, I will never enter one of their auctions.

Excellent auction house with integrity and expertise

I had a great experience with this transaction. Would certainly do it again and would recommend it to others.

The parcel arrived with a large bend through the middle. Though not a responsibility of the auction house buyers should beware the shipper recommended does not label large flats "DO NOT BEND-FOLD". Luckily the bend did not crease the artwork-but was very close to having done so.

Turner Auctions is a mid sized, personal attention auction house which sells all sorts of lovely things from clothes to finest art. The prices realized are good and the personal attention of Stephan Turner has made both buying and selling simple and enjoyable. Honesty and Integrity and interest make a great combination and it works.
