Not actual photos.
I was very disappointed in that these were advertised as photos, most were just pages out of a book. Too much money for book pages.

This auction held on August 14th 2019 was titled: Nudes-Photogravures and Other Processes and detailed as follows: 20th century Nude Photogravures and other photo-mechanical processes. Starting prices from $20. There was no representation that these were photographs. It is important to read the details of all auctions before making comments.

Bad packaging
The packaging is not suitable. It is soft and small. The engraving had a folded corner. This is the second time it has happened.

Unique source for low cost collectibles
Found wonderful gravure images from pre-1950 photographers. Quite reasonable to acquire a small group of them!

Antiqphoto delivered a gorgeous Orotone as advertised. Matter of fact, the actual piece was in much better condition than what could be seen in its advertised photograph.

Their opening bid prices were high compared to other sites; there were no COA's with the photogravures.

Photos were not shipped quite as securely as I wished they were. The envelope got dropped during shipment and the photos arrived with a small bump at one of the corners.

I misinterpreted the description of the item that I bought. I think it was entirely my fault. I wrote to the owner of the auction house, and he immediately offered to refund my purchase. It was not a big-ticket item, but I was very grateful that he acted with such a high level of concern for the customer.
