The Stasak's went above and beyond!
I accidentally on purpose won a lot of miscellaneous glass while I was traveling. Chaos ensued as I tried to figure out how in the world I was going to pick up my items in person in New Jersey-I live in Colorado. After a handful of days of trying to nail down a solution, I bit the bullet and called the auction service directly. I connected with Mike and plead my case. Admitting that I was an idiot may have helped break the ice, but he didn't have to help. Instead, he put me in contact with his son, also Mike, to see what they could do. Needless to say, they went above and beyond. They were open to working with me and shipping my things rather than forcing abandonment of the full lot by me not being able to be there. I received my glass items a week or so later and everything was packed incredibly well. No breaks, chips or scratches. They clearly know what they are doing. I was thrilled and so relieved!! I will be paying closer attention to auction details before I participate in the future, but I know M. J. Stasak Jr. Auction and Appraisal Service will offer solutions to help me get things home if I get in a pickle again, and need some creative options. Thank you to all the Mike's involved!
