They lost or someone stole my item. I live close to the auction site and I called them to see if I could pay and pick up the item in person and they told me that that would be fine. When I called back to coordinate a payment and pick up they told me that they could not find the item or it could have been stolen. They would let me know if it shows up. That's it. I really was looking forward to adding this piece to my collection. I spent a lot of time researching and watching the item before the auction. Then all the time watching the auction just to be absolutely devastated when they told me that they had no ideas where it was. Security-Inventory? I have never had this happen to me in the many years I have been collecting. I am glad I did not send them any money before I picked it up. This is the first time I participated in one of their auctions and unless this is resolved it will be my last.

Unfortunately this auction house hire unprofessional jewelers who can not tell the difference between gold and bronze. They sold me order of St Ann as gold one. In reality it’s original but not gold one. I been offer full refund. Unfortunately I been over sea and can not return. No apologies from them … So I think no more biting with this auction house.

Because overall I had a professional and smooth experience with them, despite my package with the won item (an antique firearm) being send back to them due to unclear/incomplete instructions from my country to the shipping agent. That wasn't Beachwood's fault.

Item as described and fast shipping!

The C 96 that was posted as being "Near Mint" and "95 %" was in fact so badly corroded that it was reworked gun that has been pin welded to conceal the massive corrosion. I sent photographs of the many points of concealed damage but the only responce I got was that they would resell the gun. I pointed out that I could not sell the gun with the same language under which I bought it. They refused a refund. There is no reasonable way the damage could not be seen, but it was never revealed. Nothing these people sayshould be taken as truth.
