Nice people to deal with. Nice auction.

Had to wait almost a month for this auction house to ship my item. Tried contacting them about the status of my train set, ended up going through Live Auctioneers to get an answer. When the set did arrive, contents were badly damaged. They didn't wrap anything inside the box (looked like a 5 year old just threw everything inside) Locomotive and several cars damaged & scratched. This after charging me $85 for "professionally" packing my train set. Will not ever use this auction house again!

The worst experience I have ever had with auctions. Impossible to work with! Don't waste your time and money. Their listing was NOT correct and they never answered my inquiries as to my item status. I have called (voice mail is all you get) texted, and emailed and still no answers. Buyer beware!

I have bought from them over the years but the last 2 times I have had issues. First I went through my boxes and was missing something. I messaged them and was told that I need to check my box again we don't have it here. Then they mysteriously found that items and shipped it out to me. Last auction there was 4 different days and I bought knifes 3 small knifes on the first 2 days. I was sent an invoice with separate shipping for 2 days. I messaged them to combine shipping and they said they would but then never did so I paid my invoices. I asked again to have the items sent together and money sent back to me and was told to they could not send one invoice on Live auctioneers and to use invaluable if I was to bid again. I said to ship my knifes in 2 different packages since I was paying for it and they ended up sending my knifes in 1 package and it cost me 40.00 plus to ship it. I asked once again to get my money back and no one responded back to me. I guess they don't want my business?

Fast to invoice, slow to ship.

Purchased a Mercury Dime album, which according to the pictures contained several Key Date coins, only to find out some less rare coins were inserted into two of the spots and the one key date (1916D) appears to be a less valuable 1916P or 1916S. These are things the auction house should have known and disclosed before listing the item. Very disappointed with the integrity of this seller. Caveat Emptor!

Unfortunately the baseball I bid on ended up having a fake signature when I had an authentication company examine it, but after reaching out through LiveAuctioneers they agreed to allow me to return the ball for a refund. I appreciate it when an auction house takes responsibility for what they include in their auctions!

The book that I purchased at auction was exactly as stated in the information and the packaging/Shipping was done in house, that alone saved much aggravation for me being in Canada. Over all great experience and highly recommend Davis Brothers services
