Item came with a piece missing. I contacted the auction company and was told that the item was shipped as see in photos and to check the packing and box. It only makes sense to do that before contacting them as I replied to them. Still have not heard back.

Poor communication, even poorer ship time. 3.5 weeks to receive small item paid for at the time of auctions close of which only 3-4 days of actual postal travel time, feels a bit excessive. Seems as if, once they receive payment, they could then care less about much of anything done in a timely manner. Item was well packed which was appreciated, but otherwise & overall, probably wont buy from them again.

Excellent auction house. I've purchased from several sales and their items are always listed accurately, shipping is timely and well packed. Very responsive to any shipping questions I've had. 10/10 Would recommend.

The auction house packed 3 paintings on metal in the same plastic bag with no protection between each item. The plastic bag was put in a huge box where the paintings got tossed around the inside of the box. The antique paintings were damaged because of the the poor packaging. When I contacted the auction house to report the bad packing and shipping, they offered no apology or compensation for their mistake and damage to the paintings.

Received some good value on the binder lot and the revised set didn’t have all revised cards, there were also some earlier cards from unlimited. Good stuff all around. Note: shipping was reasonable

Do yourself a favor and avoid this unscrupulous auction house at all costs! I purchased a lot of college football programs from the 1950s and instead was shipped a bunch of foamboard cutouts. When I confronted Davis Bros with this obvious fraud, they refused to refund my purchase and cited their terms and conditions, which they say allow them to make inaccurate and false representations without having to provide a refund. When I presented this issue to Liveauctioneers 'customer service, they agreed with me that Davis Bros should have refunded my purchase but said they had no way to force them to do so. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back.

Advertised and sold coins as "Proof" coins and they are not. They would not make it right. I was told all items are sold as is. Evidently even when they are not listed correctly. Too bad because I purchased several other items and they were fine.

Amazing experience. Davis Brothers packed and shipped my items so well. Shipping costs were fair and the process was seamless. It is great to find an auction house that ships items themselves. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend avoiding this auction house. They overcharged on in house shipping for a print and then failed to mail it in a poster tube, resulting in bending and creases to the print. Contacting them for any assistance or resolution was not helpful. I do not understand how a company that deals with shipping art and antiques would mail something so recklessly. Other reviews online express similar issues. I wish I could’ve seen those before my purchase.

The shipping cost for a 3 "item was outrageous tried to contact them and reason with them to be more reasonable for something will not cost more than $7 to ship and their reason that they need to put packaging material I regret bidding on their auction and will not do again.
