Items Were Carefully Wrapped
I won a large lot of trains and some of them were very fragile, so I was worried that they might get damaged when shipped. However, every piece was carefully wrapped which I really appreciate. The box was shipped quickly.

Excellent customer service, was a pleasure doing business.
The entire process was my first with this company, and it was a pleasure. The woman on the phone was great, and answered a shipping question I had easily. Items all arrived safely and exactly as described, and shipping rate was reasonable given the weight and distance. Would do business again.

Did not respond to my issues
I bid and purchased 3 different locomotives the description said one was still factory sealed, the other one said with lights and the 3rd one was rated at a 7plus. On arrival one engine was as described. The one that was stated as factory sealed was not the one that was listed as lighted was not. I sent email from their site, never got a response. I bid according to the description and pictures provided. I have 800 plus in the items. I probably will not continue this type of purchases in the future..

Fragile Items Packed with Care
One of the most important things I care about in making these distant purchases is the packaging. I have to say the model train engines I purchased were packed with a great deal of care, and they arrived in a timely fashion. Packed in soft material all around to protect them from the bumps in transit. And I waited only a few days after making the payment.

Bought a large lot of boxed items, about 1/3 of the items were empty boxes with no contents.
Bought a large lot of boxed items, about 1/3 of the items were empty boxes with no contents. Well I understand an auction house can not know if all contents are present, it is easy to know there if there are empty boxes. Seems disengenious to sell items like via the internet while not at least verifying to that level. I learned a lesson as well which is to ask auction houses for pictures of contents of all boxes to at least be more informed.

Substantial seller fees and shipping.
Be aware of the added cost of bidding on any items, seller cost and shipping can make your purchase upside-down.. They do ship fairly fast and the packing was fair, un boxed brass items could have been more secured. Overall all was ok.

Hi Bill-We do not process your credit card for payment. If you have a card on file with LiveAuctioneers, it is automatically charged after invoices are sent out, therefore it is impossible for our auction house to charge your card twice. We do not even have access to your card on file with LiveAuctioneers, so we have no ability to charge a card on our own. We contacted you timely to resolve this "alleged double charge", and in fact, you told us you were not billed twice. You could not find the alleged second charge after reviewing your credit card transactions, therefore we thought the matter had been resolved with you. LiveAuctioneers also confirmed you were only charged once. We shipped your item promptly, and even though there was no double charge, you still decided to dispute the one charge with your credit card company. We encourage you to read the bidder portion of the LiveAuctioneers website regarding LivePayments, having a card on file with LiveAuctioneers and how payment processing works with LiveAuctioneers before you place any future bids with another auction house.
