Buyer beware. This was not an in-house shipping auction which means the winner/buyer must contact an outside shipper for an estimate of packing and shipping costs. I won an item for $15 and the estimate for shipping was $90-95.00. I contacted them to ask about shipping and got no reply. I sought the shipping estimate on my own and since the shipping cost far exceeded the value of the paid for items, I surrendered claim to items and allowed them to dispose of them. They confirmed this by email, then a week later called a left a message to inquire if was going to arrange for shipping. Clearly they have poor internal communication. User beware of auctions without in-house shipping unless you are willing to pay extreme pickup, packing and shipping charges.

Fast shipping

I bought a large rug at Stephenson's and I dithered a bit deciding on the best-and cheapest-shipping method. By email and on the phone they were SO helpful. I felt bad about using up so much of their time but they didn't seem to mind in the least. VERY pro-active and easy to deal with. Two thumbs way up!

I've purchased items at their auctions a couple of times. It's a good place. They are very helpful in all ways. My items were ready for me when I came to pick them up. They called me in advance to confirm when I planned to come. Very efficient. A friendly place.

From the very beginning, Stephenson's Auction has been Great. Email correspondence with them had immediate responses and they answered all of my questions/concerns. Shipping was quick and the packaging was performed very carefully so the firearms were received by my FFL dealer without damage. I will not hesitate to bid with them again in the future. They are Professional and act as such. Bid with confidence.

Stephenson's Auction was great but third party shipment cost was high; a UPS store estimated $525 and the store I choose charged me $293 and the box they sent was poorly packed

Fast shipping, item as described.

The auction and transaction process was fine. No issues. Everything went perfectly well. The only issue is the shipping. You have to find a 3rd party shipper to send out even the smallest thing. I bought a WWI poster and it needed to be picked up by the UPS store. When they packed it, it was WAY over done. it was bubbled wrapped, in a tube and they put the tube in a box! adding about $30 extra dollars in the shipping costs. What would have been a $15 shipping cost, ended up costing over $50! Way over done and completely unnecessary. This isn't a reflection of the auction house, they did a great job, the UPS Store took total advantage of the situation.
