Any requests received less than 24 hours before the auction may not be answered. Questions cannot and will not be answered once the auction has started. BIDDING: The Auctioneer will attempt to follow bidding increments as precisely as possible, but retains the right to change or adjust increments and further reserves the right to reject any bid. WINNING BID: Please keep in mind that most auctions conducted by Hartzell?s Auction Gallery Inc. are simultaneously on-line and live in our gallery at 521 Richmond Road in Bangor, PA. Lots are sold in numerical order according to the auction catalog at a rate of approximately 90 lots per hour. Absentee bids left on Live Auctioneers are executed by a staff member in the physical auction room. Other competitive bids may include: bidders on the telephone, bidders present in the auction room, and absentee bids left with the auction house. On occasion, tie bids may occur between Live Auctioneers absentee bids and other bidders. In such an event, the auctioneer has the discretion to award the winning bid to the in-person floor bidder or bid which was received earliest. PAYMENT: Payment for purchases must be made or arranged within 3 days of receiving invoice. After this time period, the credit card used to register for the auction will automatically be charged for the full amount of invoice. Payment must be made to Hartzell?s Auction Gallery Inc. by Cash, Check, Certified Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer (International Buyers) or Credit Card. PayPal is not accepted for payment. Buyers who wish to pay directly through Live Auctioneers may do so, but will incur a transaction fee of 2.8% added to their total bill. Purchases paid for using a personal check will be held until payment has cleared. International buyers must make payment through wire transfer, US dollar denominated check drawn on a US bank or by international money order. There will be a $30 processing fee for all wire transfers. A service charge of $10.00 a day will be added each day for storage fee to unpaid balances beginning the tenth (10) business days after the auction date. When the total of storage has reached the total amount of the invoice, the items will be sold to cover the storage fees. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. SALES TAX: Internet Sales Tax Applies to All States Requiring it. If you have a Resale Tax Number, fill out the correct forms with LiveAuctioneers before bidding. However, we do recommend that potential buyers obtain packing/shipping estimates from Us or our preferred shipping company PAKMAIL prior to bidding. Bidders are also welcome to contact a pack/shipping professional of their choice for large/oversized items. PAKMAIL of Easton, PA is prepared to provide bidders with packing/shipping estimates prior to bidding.
