Fall Collector Auction Event: Session 3

When you add together the great collection of Ski & the Late Bob Lower from MD, put it with the Iowa collection of Vern and Lori Benjamin and top it off with the collection of Alex & Marie Masiaschin from WI, you?ll have an incredibly varied and interesting Auction. The Lowers collected up & down the East Coast. They loved Country Store, Soda Fountain and Coin-operated machines! Vern and Lori Benjamin, were the Drug Store folks. The Penns ran across them, some 40 years ago and tried to buy the contents of a c.1910 Drug Store they just acquired. Vern was a Pharmacist. Last year their son tracked down the Penns. ?Were you the folks that tried to buy the contents of the Benjamin Drug Store in West Point, IA, a long time ago?? he asked. So now, 40 years later, the contents, stored since then, comes to auction. Alex & Marie Masiaschin loved primitives, especially weathervanes and lightening rod balls! There's also Toys, a Couple Classic Cars, Still & Mechanical Banks, Signs in every variety, Furniture, Primitives, Norwegian Rosemalling and something extra special on Friday. Off-site on Friday at 501 Sycamore, we're selling from the massive lifetime collection of Verner and Donna Nelson. They collected architectural pieces, store fronts, stained glass and a variety of decorative pieces. Hundreds of non catalogued pieces and 300 pieces of furniture and architectural wonders!
