Riverfront Auctions is pleased to offer a curated selection of deeds, documents, and maps pertaining to 19th century history of Cincinnati, Ohio. Highlights include letters signed by the likes of Maria Longworth Nichols Storer (founder of Rookwood Pottery), Judge Jacob Burnet (facilitated the construction of the Miami Canal), George Eastman (founder of Eastman Kodak Co.), Jay Gould (controversial robber baron of the Gilded Age), Harley T. Proctor (prolific advertiser and inventor), and Henry Hanna (prosperous Cincinnati merchant and real estate investor). We are also excited to offer documents relating to Cincinnati's rich brewing history, such as the original lease between The Hanna Family and the John Hauck Brewing Company. Additionally, there are a handful of lots relating to the Herbert Hoover campaign and 1920s prohibition documents.

McClintick, who stood as general counsel for the Marietta and Cincinnati Railway and the Ohio and Mississippi Railroad. He was also president of the Cincinnati and Baltimore Railway company. McClintick was associated with a large number of important suits involving principles of railway and commercial law.
