Highlights include letters signed by the likes of Maria Longworth Nichols Storer (founder of Rookwood Pottery), Judge Jacob Burnet (facilitated the construction of the Miami Canal), George Eastman (founder of Eastman Kodak Co.), Jay Gould (controversial robber baron of the Gilded Age), Harley T. Proctor (prolific advertiser and inventor), and Henry Hanna (prosperous Cincinnati merchant and real estate investor).
