The Larry King Collection

Juliens Auctions is happy to present The Larry King Collection which will be held on August 12, 2025 at 10:00AM PDT. Most of us got to know King on his long-running CNN television talk show, ?Larry King Live? which ran for an impressive 25 years, from 1985 to 2010. On the show, he interviewed the proverbial ?everyone who was anyone? from the fields of politics, sports, Hollywood, music, business, literature, and science, as well as unknown people who were suddenly thrust into the spotlight for various reasons. King was quoted as saying ?I never learned anything while I was talking? ? advice we should all heed! He let his guests speak, and we as the viewing public benefited from his casual yet penetrating interview style. Because of King?s show, we learned firsthand what influential world leaders, scientists, and artists knew, thought, and did. The lots in this auction reflect King?s extraordinary life. Items on offer will relate to his storied media career, his love of the Los Angeles Dodgers, his personal library, and his personal collectibles. A particular highlight is the large number of books inscribed to King by the world famous people who were guests on his show.
