Day One of DuMouchelles’ December 2025 auction presents a curated offering of fine timepieces, estate jewelry, silver, and decorative arts, with property from prominent private collections in Bloomfield Hills, Grosse Pointe Park, Dearborn Heights, MI, and Toledo, OH. The estate jewelry selection is led by a 7.08ct light yellow radiant cut diamond ring, a 2.02ct E-color pear cut diamond, and a 3.8ct brilliant cut platinum ring. The Estate of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Cording offers a 9.5ct blue sapphire ring, ruby and emerald rings, and pink and yellow sapphire bracelets. Additional highlights include diamond tennis bracelets, multi-gemstone necklaces, and gold rings from Toledo and Grosse Pointe Park collections. Watch collectors will note limited-edition Swiss timepieces from a Bloomfield Hills collector, including a Hovig Simonian ‘Miniature Mystery Pendulum’, a Chopard ‘Grand Prix De Monaco Historique’ chronograph, and Ulysse Nardin’s ‘Sonata Silicium’. Also featured are a rare Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver and several Rolex wristwatches. Silver offerings include a three-piece Dominic & Haff repousse tea service (1888), made for the Bouvier-Dixon family of Philadelphia, as well as a Fabergé Russian silver and carved agate covered jar, a Vilnius silver samovar retailed by Fabergé, and sterling silver flatware by Wallace and Stieff. From the Glen A. Carlson estate are 18th- and 19th-century French fauteuils, including pieces attributed to Jean-Baptiste Boulard and models after Georges Jacob. Other featured lots include a Russian 14kt gold and diamond frame containing an image of Czar Nicholas II, a large Lladro Don Quixote porcelain figure, Royal Vienna-style porcelain plates, and a group of Austro-Hungarian jewelry circa 1850.
