Objects of Desire

Peruse our February auction, Objects of Desire, and discover treasures to suit every kind of collector. From lots featuring an actual silver heart and handwritten billet-doux to Richard Lovett's Philosophical Essays on the nature of fire, this live auction is thoughtfully curated to celebrate love in all its forms. Highlights include a rare painting of Charles I's three eldest children, complete with subtle signs of affection woven into the composition, as well as a compelling collection of World's Fair memorabilia assembled by a collector from a bygone era. We are also honored to present items from the collection of our beloved client John A. Davidson Jr., whose deep love for his pets lives on, with the majority of his collection offered to benefit the APL of Lorain County. All lots are available for in-person viewing by appointment from February 19 - 24, ahead of the live auction on February 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM (ET). Bidding is available online. Telephone bidding is available by arrangement for lots valued above $500.00.
