Freeman's

Introducing Freeman’s—America’s Auction House since 1805
The prestige of Freeman’s, Cowan’s, and Hindman—now united under one timeless name. This November, the company will move forward simply as Freeman’s, honoring its historic legacy. The rebrand coincides with the 220th anniversary of its founding in November 1805, when Tristram B. Freeman was appointed auctioneer for the City of Philadelphia.
For more than two centuries, Freeman’s has connected people with extraordinary objects. This next chapter brings together the firm’s combined history, experience, and national reach under one trusted name. Though the brand has evolved, the commitment to clients remains unchanged: to provide exceptional service and expertise at every step.

Sports Memorabilia
Freeman’s is proud to present select highlights from the personal baseball card collection of David Eisenhower, historian, author, and Director of the Institute for Public Service at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication as part of our April 9 Sports Memorabilia auction. Eisenhower spent part of his childhood at the White House during his grandfather’s presidency. In the late 1950s, against the backdrop of official ceremonies and daily presidential life, he began collecting baseball cards personally acquiring, organizing, and preserving many of the examples offered here. Complementing this collection is a remarkable offering that spans the full collecting spectrum, featuring both trading cards and memorabilia of icons from Michael Jordan to Tom Brady. Extraordinary Jordan material is featured throughout including items tied to acclaimed commercial photographer Jean Moss. Moss created the now iconic photo for the groundbreaking “The Best On Earth. The Best On Mars.” Nike Air Jordan III campaign, and her work is represented by a rare, one-of-a-kind large-format print of Jordan from that photoshoot, as well as a unique series of Polaroid proofs from a 1987 McDonald’s campaign each signed by Jordan. Further highlights include a run of basketball cards signed by Jordan in 1992 during a memorable locker room visit at Chicago Stadium with a Make-A-Wish child and a rare high-grade newsstand edition of Jordan's first Sports Illustrated cover appearance in 1983.Native American Art Online

Very pleased with Cincinnati location.
The Cincinnati location is top drawer. The young lady I dealt with was extremely sharp, answered a couple of questions I had and was able to take my payment and arrange shipping all during the same phone call. She even spotted a discrepancy in my mailing address, that she corrected then and there. I will definitely be bidding with them in the future.

High quality antique painting, even better than described!
While I waited for it to arrive, I was sure I had paid too much, but when it got here, I felt like I got a great deal! Painting was well worth the money. I would definitely buy from Freeman's again. Thank you!
