Easy to deal with in both the purchasing and shipment of my items!

I have won some great items from Cordier Auctions and their customer service has always been top notch! Unfortunately, the contracted UPS store charges an exorbitant amount for items. I will say that their packing is excellent though. I will not place further bids until more pack and ship options are available.

I have done business with Cordier for many years and have always found them to be professional, helpful, and efficient. Their new pickup process works like a charm Highly recommend! + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

Very happy with the item, it was well described and went at a reasonable price. Shipping by UPS Store # 0698 was reasonable and timely.

I was pleased with my purchase. I wish I could have paid by credit card, as that would have been most convenient. Wire transfers are a bit more hassle, but it went OK. I used the recommended UPS shipper, and the shipper did a great job packing and sending the item quickly.

These are strange times, and I think Cordier is doing as good a job as possible in very challenging circumstances. I like the pick up system in place, and both times in July that I had to visit the auction house everything went very smoothly. The on-line descriptions are accurate, the payment process is efficient, and pickup has actually become a bit better than it was in pre-pandemic days.

It would have been nice if an item description stated that the file cabinet did not lock and was structurally unstable.

Very good auction, everything smooth and interactions with auction house great. Shipping is a train wreck (as it is with most auctions houses). The main reason for my complaining is, it "feels" the shipping responsibility has been handed off.. and it is what it is has become the attitude. I purchased a small pressed metal toy about 22 "for about $60. The Shipping and Handling first pass was $78. I simply asked the person at the shipping store, if this was your mothers to ship... would $78 be the best you can do? They resent an invoice for $48. In the future, the auction houses that succeeds (I have noticed they are certainly aggressively increasing their Buyers Premium.. amazingly creative and quick to action on that piece.) in the future will be the one that figures out how to best ship things. Instead what you have is.. well we will have a local service come pick up your items and hold them hostage until you agree to pay the shipping fee. If you don't agree, we will keep your item and sell it, or we will charge you for storage. Anyway.. I get my 30 seconds to share my thoughts. FYI, when I have been responsible for shipping my own items, I have creatively shipped 16 full size pedal cars for $550 from Iowa to Texas, 9 pedal cars from Pennsylvania to Texas for $350.. shipped a pedal car from Michigan via Trailways bus lines for $125... I have used Uship, Trailways, and shippers I have accumulated over the last couple years.. and saved thousands!.. wouldn't it be nice if an auction company helped their clients figure these things out also?

Have been dealing with this auction house for years. Used to attend in person. Continue to purchase items on line. We are close so always pick up. Easy.

Very organized business. Excellent on line presence with descriptions and pictures of the items being auctioned. Bidding on line is very easy.

I’ve dealt with probably a hundred or so auctioneers through the years. Cordier is efficient in their procedures, but have a few rules and restrictions that are not up to par with the better houses. First off, their invoice specified wires, bank checks, money orders. No credit cards? No PayPal? In this day and age? I also do not like using a 3 rd party shipping service. That adds another pair of hands for something to go awry, and additional handling fees. Given the wide range of choices available, I would opt to buy from other auctioneers.

This is my third lot won with Cordier-they are always excellent!

Shipping of my large oil painting was fairly expensive but the transition to the UPS Store to me went smoothly
