I am currently trying to be reimbursed for an item that arrived damaged. The description said that it appeared that the box was unopened but it seemed probable to me that the box with the damaged item had been opened.

Their preferred shipping is outrageously high. I wanted to buy more but I knew the shipping would be stiff. I called and asked for the principal to return my call........ no response. Receptionist was very professional and listened. I bought something from McClellan California (Lemar) that was twice as heavy for 5.00 more than shipping from Harrisburg PA.

shipping way too expensive, I could shipped what I received for much less and had it packed just as well. The high shipping makes me re evaluate my purchases and makes resale much more difficult.

They refused to sell me a doll I won and claimed they had a computer error even though I was the only bidder. Then they made be purchase the other lot I didn't even want but only purchased because I won the lot they robbed me of. I guess only bidders have to commit not the auction house. I will never ever buy from them again and I don't think they should even be allowed to sell on Live. Also, the shipping company they use charged me $87.00 for four dolls that I didn't even want to begin with. Awful Awful!!!!!

The auction house should arrange shipping.

There were two big problems. First the auction house double billed my credit card and I paid them twice before the credit was processed. It took too long to get resolved. Second problem is their preferred shipper charges $20 just to pick up items before the packaging and shipping costs. After negotiation they agreed to lower my pick up charge to $10 one time only but, it makes the cost of shipping small inexpensive items to costly to buy at this auction.

2 working days after the auction I had paid and arranged shipping but was getting rude emails about paying, arranging shipping or they are going to start charging storage fees. This auction house needs to work on their customer service a bit

Being an eBay participant, I found the online auctions to be unpredictable. Getting the last bid in does not work the same. You need to improve this, or I need to understand your system better. Perhaps a little of both.

Item purchased (set of china) had 4 items that had hairline cracks (probably old cracks). These were old pieces and may have been in storage for a long time before the auction. It would have been helpful to know that items were cracked before bidding but the cracks were only visible when one held the dishes up to the light so the auction house may not have known about them.

This was a great experience. Everything went smoothly. I won 2 lots in this auction on a Saturday, I paid for them on Monday, and my items were delivered on Thursday.

A check was overnighted via fedex and was cleared by our bank immediately, however they said they required and additional 5-7 days before they would release the item to be shipped.

I disputed my "purchase" of an item and went back and forth with them as well as Liveauctioneers. The bottom line is I thought Liveauctionerers was willing to work with me to a mutually amicable settlement, however the auction house costumer service was non-existent. They knew through numerous-mails and phone calls I neither wanted or was willing to accept the item and would not waive the record of purchase.

Pottery was shipped by ups store. Cost was equal to cost of item. Otherwise a smooth purchase.

Ups store has held my item captive and has charted me a $5 daily fee for a book. This leading me to decide not to have the item shipped. So all in all I won an item paid for it, the item went to the shipper who decided to charge Unforeseeable and never agreed upon charges so now I am without a won and purchased item. Meanwhile I spoke with auction house and expect a phone call back hoping they take the high road and have this sent to me for the shipping price that it should be for a single 30 page book.

For example: 1 lot of 25 pieces of railroad china-there were 2 reproductions (clearly stated on the front of the plates), 3 cracked pieces and 2 with chips, leaving only acceptable 18 pieces. Shipping was expensive-$16.10 just for the box, which was WAY too big. Everything was in the bottom 1/4 of the box. Peanuts filled up the rest of the box. I doubt that I will buy from this auction house again.
