Shipping through the UPS store is way to high. It has to be a deterrent, as it adds a great deal more expense to the overall price, which plays a huge roll in what is affordable for resale. This expense also affects how much more a buyer would pay during the sale. Investigating this area would serve the auction company positively, if more cost efficient facilities could compete for this part of the business. Three items just cost an additional $235.00 for my latest purchases.

90 % of all Native American artifacts are counterfeit. I wish something could be done about it.

certain train items were not matched correctly with engine and tender in the photos, they need to reach out to train buffs if they need assistance with these type items. otherwise, they do a great job, even with the $assigned to items.

I was annoyed that the auction house did not pack the items, and I had to pay extra for boxes-never heard of that before. It took awhile for them to ask me how I wanted them shipped-plus... I never actually received the items as there was a neighborhood scam-not the auction house's fault but a little bit of a bitter taste etc.

I had no idea I was going to be charged almost double the purchase price for shipping. The listing in the auction did not have the measurements of the boxes and shipping was astronomical. I learned a lesson using your app. I will never bid, sight unseen again.

The auction house posted a description that was blatantly false and when Ellen Miller was informed of the gross discrepancy, she supported the auction house. Neither she nor Cordier have any integrity. A very expensive lesson for me to learn.

The item, a small children's book, was missing a page (# 1, the frontis) which was not noted in the description.

I buy and sell fountain pens, and I find most auction houses are very poor at photos and descriptions. Most of time I am paying top dollar for the pens, only to find them damaged. I think if Liveauctioneers's auction houses had Ebay selling standards I would be willing bid higher for item.

Our last online experience with Cordier was NOT good. We WON a lot of books and was notified by Live auctioneers on line and when we drive 2 + hrs to pick up our items they told us that the girl running the online portion of the auction made a mistake and they awarded the win to the floor. I therefore didn't get my lot and was pressured to not be upset. The woman who was in the house was there and somehow because she was present she got to leave with the items and I did not. They did apologize but I still don't understand why if a person is in the floor and I was On line and notified I won how that other person actually won. They said the girl running the computer that day made three similar mistakes. I told David Cordier that his reputation could be effected and he knows I was irritated. Yet I still left empty handed. Selling with Cordier has also been slightly disappointing because of the Order he puts items in the auction. For example in a Sunday at church time he should put more specific items ie: Hummels or a collection of like items. He also should think about east coast west coast time difference and put mid century when the west coast customers are awake. His research team is also slightly lacking. Thank you! We would never have complained BUT you asked. Happy Holidays!

I really don't think personal checks take 10 days to clear.

They were very helpful. I didn't ask all the right questions. The UPS store that shipped the item wasn't great as items shifted in transit and the drawers of the Mahjong case wouldn't open.

I purchased cut glass pieces through the on line did. The photos did not show the damaged rims. Would not have bid on them had I known this. Live & learn I guess. Won't use on line bidding any more.

I would like to express my extreme disappointment with the manner in which this entire transaction was handled. I have never encountered such an unfortunate lack of decorum, manners and professionalism. Their failure to correctly and punctually communicate with my PA meant that the payment was overlooked. A no-pay alert was issued and my account was shut down as a result. No reminder was issued. The secretary said that this happens only after two weeks-the event occurred under five days after the event. The staff held with dispassionate adherence to the official line, as they knew themselves to be in the wrong. If the amount had been substantial or the time prolonged, fair enough, but this was for a pathetically small sum (100 dollars). The fact that the payment was overlooked because I was burying my father made not the slightest difference. I have a flawless bidding record, and have spent tens of thousands of dollars in online bidding platforms over recent years. And not once in that time has any auction house treated me in such shabby fashion. Not ever. On the occasions that an invoice has been overlooked, all have seen fit to call, email or otherwise communicate with me, recognising that human frailties and lack of memory is a more likely cause for payment delay than an attempt to defraud. It would have been more appropriate-and, frankly, more polite-to spend ten seconds in writing me a reminder than to deliberately and pointlessly sabotage my financial probity. This is at the very least a serious flaw in customer relations. I shall ensure that tis matter is well advertised through my not inconsiderable list of fellow collectors. Like me, they are reliant upon online platforms, and cannot afford to have their reputations sabotaged so casually, and so thoughtlessly. I shall not be using this auction house again. I might also add that it makes me very hesitant to use LiveAuctioneers again, as I have never had this issue with any of th

Smooth as silk, the UPS Store that shipped the item however was unable to get the USPS shipping price down to what I have paid for many other watches shipped to Canada. Eventually I just gave up and paid the higher rate.

My wife and I were apprehensive to buy the 2 paperweights sight unseen, but we were very pleased when they arrived and were everything that the auction house described! We are very pleased with our purchase from Cormier Auctions!

Cordier Auction has been one of my favorite auction houses for many years now. They always have quality merchandise, and their auctions are run very professionally. Always a pleasure to attend and bid.
