I knew were slow, But the lack of communication and accuracy of their communications was very frustrating. 5/31-Received invoice 6/16-Received message I will have tracking info shortly 6/30-Another message stating I will have tracking info tomorrow. 7/5-received tracking # finally 7/7-Received merchandise, (a small publication, not sure why it took so long or why I could get timely information). I do not want to go through that again.

My story is like the many others that have left a response. Made 2 phone calls to him and was told each time that it would go out the next day and that I'd receive tracking number the next day. After treating him that I would stop payment and leave a negative review the item was finally mailed.

After paying a very expensive shipping charge for 2 items I contacted Churchill Galleries and requested the status of my items. I sent e mails and then called and left message asking for a tracking #. After a couple of emails and calls after 3 weeks. I was finally contacted by a representative of the Galleries and he promised to get me a Tracking #. Another week and a half later (1 month since paying for items) I still have not received my items. I will no longer be purchasing anything fromliveauctioneers.com. George

I paid for this item and never received it. I messaged the auction house multiple times with no response. I finally got the auction house on the phone. They said they would get back to me with a tracking number. They never did. Do not waste your money and buy from this auction house. I have asked them to refund my money but they have not.

Very pleased. A smooth transaction supported by excellent customer service from start to finish. Questions were answered quickly and in a friendly manner. For shipping, I used UPS Store 0691, which was recommended; and they did a terrific job and charged a fair and reasonable rate for the large print. Despite paying for the items directly after the auction concluded, they still have not arrived (shipping two counties over) nearly 20 days later. I wouldn’t advise dealing with them.

I have made a number of purchases through Churchill Galleries, whose auctions I access through liveauctioneers. They have auctions quite regularly, of various types, often featuring items of interest to me. Everything that I have received from them has turned out to have been very accurately pictured and described; and if one is in doubt, they are ready to answer questions ahead of time. Since I live abroad, I need to have things packed and shipped by the auction house, and Churchill Galleries offers in-house services of this kind, while many others don't. International shipping tends to be expensive — expensive enough so as to be reckoned as a significant part of the price, which in turn affects how high one is ready to bid. Churchill Galleries gives very favorable shipping rates compared to most — or perhaps all — other galleries that I have dealt with. Their payment process is easy and flawless. But the most important thing for me is that I often have to contact the auctioneers for one thing and another (for example, shipment to various different addresses), and so it is important for me that they are responsive, friendly, and helpful. It's always a pleasure to do business with Churchill Galleries! I have read all of the various posted reviews for Churchill Galleries, and most of them are highly positive. But I looked carefully at the negative ones and am of the opinion that most of them reveal inept, unreasonable, or even nasty customers, rather than anything wrong with Churchill Galleries. I am sure that Churchill Galleries makes occasional mistakes — who doesn't? — even if they haven't made any with me. But one can be sure that if they do make a mistake on something, it will be corrected or made good. I have dealt with perhaps 10 different auction houses through liveauctioneers, and the one that has been the most dependable and fun to deal with is Churchill Galleries!

Longer than normal shipping time, had trouble getting tracking information.

The glass in the frame, a peice was broken in shipping. But over all great.

I purchased a small piece of art from Churchill Galleries on 12/19/21. I did not receive any tracking info and followed up appx two weeks later. The gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant and assured me it had shipped. He stated he would check in with the shipping team and get back to me on when it would be delivered. This did not happen. I followed up three more times and each time the same gentleman assured me it had shipped and pledged to send me tracking info. This has not happened. I can only assume it has been lost/was never shipped. I will be disputing this transaction with Live Auctioneers and my bank. Stay away from this auction house.

When I received these I was disappointed to find them of a low quality lapis. Many of the beads are light blue, some with light gray streaks. I didn't pay much so not contacting them, but they gallery should pay more attention to accurate photos.

I like that they were upfront in the auction on how much shipping would be. Everything came exactly as described. Buy with confidence.

This was my first experience with Churchill Galleries and I assure you, it won't be the last. Each item I won was described by Churchill Galleries exactly. The photos of the items helped a lot, in determining whether I wanted to buy them. After I won the items, I got my invoice (which included shipping costs), I paid the invoice, then a few weeks later I received my winnings. It was that easy, in it was one of my easiest auction experiences ever. When I got my items, they were wrapped perfectly and in the condition I expected them to be in. No surprises, and that is the way every auction house should be. So, I would like to thank Churchill Galleries. I think you are fantastic.

Although I have not received my item yet the Gentlemen Charles has been very helpful.

had to call auction house 12 days after I paid and they said it shipped but it didn't really ship for 2 more days. Person was rude and lied to just get off the phone. Said he was the manager.

It took 4 messages to auction house and 16 days for them to obtain a tracking number. Then it took another 10 days to receive items. Worst packing job I have ever seen, and I have seen hundreds. When I opened box, the guitar had a large hole in the front upper bout, looked like a hammer had struck it. First thought was the lousy packing, but upon checking the packing, thoroughly, could not find any of the damaged remnants of the damage, which was severe enough to have fractured the finish, indented the wood, and left an ugly hole in the front. very upset. Having dealt with the auction house and reviewing the other reviews, decided to chalk this one up to NOT HAVING REVIEWED THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO USING THIS AUTION HOUSE. My major disappointment is that LIVE AUCTIONEERS is still allowing this site to remain on their website. Money rules, right.....

I’ve had to escalate this to PayPal customer care. Seems to be a scam, many people have had issues over the past 30 days. Buyer beware.

It has been a month and I have not received the item I won and the auction house has not responded to any of my requests for tracking information or updates on my item.
