I buy and ship a lot. And I mean a lot. The transaction with the auction house was smooth. Auction House packing was exceptional if you ship fine antiques and glassware, rest assured this people knows how to pack it to arrive. Forget about the run of the mill Franchise packing stores.

Item was exactly as described and the photos correctly showed everything about the item. Don't worry about shipping. I contacted Coral Gables Auction prior to bidding on this item to find out how it would be shipped to me and how much it would cost if I won. They put me in touch with 2 capable shippers that they deal with. I contacted both. Both chargers were useful but there was a clear choice and I was happy with my choice of chargers and even happier when this treasure arrived intact. I am very happy to have found this item at auction and to have been the winning bidder.

If you look at the online reviews for this auction house, you will notice that people who use their inhouse shipping service have consistently terrible experiences. If you use an outside shipper, everything is fine. They charge a huge amount for in-house shipping and then significantly delay sending out the piece. They sit on your money. When you call, they tell you they lost your phone number, they sent the response to the wrong email address, they were closed for vacation. When I called the auction house and asked them to refund my shipping because it had been a month and they hadn't sent the piece and told them I would leave negative feedback, they threatened me and started a complaint against me as they told me no one on live auctioneers would approve me to bid in an auction if I had an open complaint. They are very aggressive in defending their lies and you will notice that they post rebuttals to anyone leaving negative feedback. I suspect they'll do the same on this review. It's very simple. If you bid and pick up or use an outside shipper, you'll have a good experience. If you use inhouse shipping, you'll overpay and have a horrible experience as the auction house ignores you and lies to you. Because they only use Zelle for shipping payments, you really don't have recourse to recoup your shipping if you're dissatisfied. They won't accept Paypal or Venmo for shipping, a red flag on lack of purchaser protection. Buyer Beware. They're not nice people and will do everything to tell you you're wrong.

Very efficient auction house. They were able to complete the transaction in the shipment in the relatively short period of time. Extremely reasonable shipping rates also. I certainly would do business with them again.

My won lots were very accurately described, upon receipt I found them to exceed expectations (there is only so much even the best photography can achieve). Lovely after sale support for the arranging of shipping; i found their recommendations for shipping agents most helpful, and I'm very satisfied with the service supplied by the local agent (UPS) I selected. One of the best antique stores in Florida, they are also a highly respected and recognized auction house in the state. The owner is a very kind man and the girl who is in front receiving customers is very attentive. I bought a piece at the auction and went to the store to pick it up since I was in Miami on vacation and I was surprised by the pieces they have, they are wonderful. For my part they have a loyal customer and I hope to do business soon

Very professional Auction House

This auction house is a scam. Paid for item immediately and for shipping. They would email me back at first, saying they were shipping the next day. Literally months went by and they went silent.

Recent purchase went well from start to finish. I got a shipping quote from local UPS and it was much higher than the in house shipper. Went with in-house and no issues shipping was great. Item packed very well. I don't knock the UPS Store-the item was large in dimensions and I understand with the in house shipper making regular volume pickups they can probably afford to do it cheaper.

I spent two thousand dollars on a lot with Coral Gables Auction on 2/5, paid them for it including shipping, and have not received the items. Coral Gables does not respond to calls or emails. Check out their reviews and you will see many others have had the same experience. I escalated to Live Auctioneer on 2/28 asking for their assistance. I received an auto reply with a case number. And that was the last I heard from Live Auctioneers despite sending two emails asking for an update. And I tried calling Live Auctioneers. But there is no way to actually speak to anyone there. Very frustrating. I guess my next recourse is through my credit card company. It’s a shame that one auction house can soil the reputation of such a popular service provider. ALSO NOTE THAT MANY OF THEOR REVIEWS ON THIS SITE ARE WRITTEN BY THE SAME PEOPLE. HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS!
