Yikes, I paid a lot to have it shipped! But that was not due to any service by the auction house, who were helpful.

This was my first time doing business with Gulfcoast and it was a positive experience. I was able to receive a fair and reasonable shipping price from a local shipping company

Delay in shipment required email to Shipping Company. Package arrived 2/18/2019 by FedEx.

I won a painting. NOT a large piece of furniture. But they will not ship it. Instead, I have to try to find somebody to go pick it up, pack it and ship it to me. RIDICULOUS. That will probably cost me more than the item. Why can't the seller wrap it in bubble wrap, put it in a box and call FedEx or UPS? They probably already have a business account with those companies. Definitely NOT the way to treat customers. I will not bid on any of their items again.

Shipping process seems very uncoordinated but maybe that is due to me only winning one small lot. If I had spent a lot of money or won several lots, maybe I would have had a higher priority.

Never sent me the tracking info and had package stolen as a result because I never knew it had shipped. They say they only send shipping info on request. It is the only auction house on LiveAuctioneers to not send me the tracking on won items.

I was told by Ian Morales at the Auction house that the blue spinel was genuine not synthetic, so after "winning" the piec and paying for it I took it to have it examined by a Geological lab in Los Angeles and paid $20. to find out it was synthetic. So I again talked to Ian Morales and he got the ok for me to return it to Auction Gallery of Boca Raton for a credit to my credit card. I returned it 5/9/2018 and after a few days called Ian and he said he received it and would credit my credit card, I called him on 5/21/18 Left message and on 5/22/18 got a recorded message that they were closed due to illness, and a phone number was given to call for information. I called that number and a bankruptcy attorney answered and said they had filled for bankruptcy on 5/21/18. the number for the attorney is ********** Tony Ditocco. Then I had a live chat on Live auctioneers and explained situation. So yes it has been a bad experience with this auction house. Jan
