A sabre "Wrangel" for army officers with portepee, model number 1693 from the "Field Commander" series by Eickhorn, SolingenBeautiful nickel-plated blade with maker's logo on the ricasso. Knuckle-bow hilt with rich oak leaf décor and mostly preserved gilding. The obverse languet bears an army eagle and the reverse a blank monogram cartouche. Black plastic grip with wire winding. Black lacquered steel scabbard (slight scratches). Officer's portepee. Length 91.5 cm.Condition: II +
