A fine wooden casket with gilt bronze mountings by O. B. Friedrich, purveyor to the Saxon court, circa 1860-80Kassette aus Hartholz mit feinem Furnier aus Satinholz. Aufwendig gearbeitete Beschläge aus vergoldeter Bronze mit fein ziselierten Details. Scharniergelagerter Deckel, auf der Oberseite des Schlosses gravierte Signatur "O.B. Friedrich Dresden". Das Innere mit gut erhaltener originaler Auskleidung aus hellblauer Seide. Abschließbar, Schlüssel ergänzt. Maße 22,5 x 30 x 21,5 cm.Der Möbelfabrikant O. B. Friedrich war Königlich Sächsischer Hoflieferant in Dresden, seine Geschäftsräume lagen damals am Georgplatz 12.Condition: II +
