Description
Telescope once used by British Royal Naval Rear Admiral John Walter Dunford. The admirals memoirs are in possession of the imperial war museum in England. He was a midshipman on HMS Inflexible, HMS Queen, officer on HMS Argyll, HMS Shannon. Later he served as commander at Jutland in 1915.Here we sell his engraved spyglass telescope with woven fabric cover with diamond motif of blue and striped white linen. Rope woven border at eds. 24"Open 17"Closed 2 lbs.
