Item Details
Description
The Carinthia by Charles Van Ryper is a 10" waterline model on a 12" wood base. Launched in 1925, she made her Cunard White Star Lines maiden voyage from Liverpool to New York in August of that year. At 624 feet, she was the largest of the five post World War 1 intermediate sized liners. Carinthia was torpedoed and sunk in June of 1940.
