Description
Alfred Fitch Bellows, American, 1829-1883. A mid 19th century watercolor and gouache on paper landscape. Depicts figures carrying hay along a wooded path near a large thatched roof cottage. Signed "A.F. Bellows" lower left. Very slight foxing, not examined out of frame. Image 19 1/2 x 11 1/2" high, in a Gilded wood frame with some wear, 29 x 21 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-400
