Tavola originale realizzata da Crepax per la pag. 14 di "Barbablù", avventura della sensuale Valentina edita per la prima volta nel volume "Valentina nella stufa" dalla Milano Libri Edizioni nel 1973. In questa storia, che è a tutti gli effetti la continuazione della precedente "Baba Yaga", sono condensate tutte le puculiarità narrative ed estetiche dell ’arte di Crepax: c ’è il mondo onirico, quello psicanalitico, gli animali, gli oggetti d ’epoca, la magia e il razionalismo che la combatte ma ne resta ammaliato, c ’è la fiaba e c ’è il complesso rapporto dello stesso Crepax e della sua Valentina con il movimento femminista. Firmata e datata.
