A spectacular 19th Century Victorian Renaissance Revival pair of incredibly ornate hand carved walnut with burl panels and delicate inlaid marquetry medallions and banded armchairs. The finely sculpted classical heads are almost certainly the work of famous American Furniture maker, John Jelliff newly and classically custom upholstered in a pleaded plush "cabernet" Italian mohair and stunning patterned velvet with intricate detail and trim, a truly fine rare antique show-stopper.
